We're doing time share in Las Vegas for the holiday. I'm taking off Wednesday and Friday, believe it or not...Driving the four hours will run into six or more with the holiday traffic but that's OK. Both son and future DIL will be joining us. I didn't get to the garage cleaning today. DH is refinishing some floors and I got dragged into it. My back hurts so much I can hardly stand it but I'll be good to go again in the morning. It will be nice when it's finished. Have a great evening all!!!

Yes indeed!! Such a shock... And guess how risky I was on Friday... I got up at 4:30 to meet some of my Team at a remodeled Store for the punch three hours away. We finished up about 11:00 and I headed back to the office. I got the the freeway interchange for office or home. Went home and took a two hour nap in the middle of the afternoon. And I haven't been arrested yet!!

We are staying just a couple of minutes away from Old Town, just a mile or two east along the highway. A couple more miles west and we're at my conference. I'm amazed I was able to find a place so close for such a great price. Seaport Village sounds interesting too.

It just dawned on me I'm not going to get to go on a cruise while we're out there because I have to get back for rehearsals. By the time we drive out and back, I will have been gone about as long as I can afford to be away. But it will be SO nice to play in our big band at the conference from a point of being completely in shape. The last two years, I hadn't played since the previous June until the conference in February, so I was having to stick my lips in ice all the time - they hurt so bad afterward. This is going to be a great year.

Headed out for the Tour of Texas on Wednesday. Whee! I'm still trying to decide whether we will take Wolfie the Jack Russell Terrorist with us. She has become completely unpredictable and I'm afraid to have her around other people. We took her to the vet today, who had several theories. Basically, we left with, "let's try this and if that doesn't work, we'll try something else." I can't decide what to do... On the other hand, Thanksgiving has the advantage where it's just us gathered around the table for food instead of spread out on the living room floor surrounded by mounds of paper, like at Christmas. Christmas is really a scary time.

Not sure where everyone is, just taking a rest I guess. Lorrie doesn't seem to post on weekends much so we will have to wait till she goes back to work. She is really a talented writer and a fun person. No cruises till next Sept. so I will just have to settle for three weeks in Cabo in Jan/Feb. Will be packin up right after the holidays. All ladies for the trip as usual. DH changed his mind and doesn't want to go. Darnreally love you honey, but.......

Three weeks in Cabo sounds good. But I could never be away that long.
