Wow it is a full house! I am working on another day so I'll be back in just a minute.

My mother says that all of her friends are jealous of the fact that her daughter keeps bugging her to move in with her. They can't believe I would want her to do that. All I know is that before Dewy and I got married and I moved to Tulsa, my mother was my best friend and we did everything together. And, then there is also the promising my dad. I know that he would understand but I just feel really responsible for my mom. Anyway, I can't imagine any of my sisters actually taking care of my mother. I have two sisters who live in Florida and they never see my mother. I mean, really, they are one hour away and I see my mother more than they do. My mom lives in Lady Lake, FL, which is about 45 minutes from Denise, and I live in Tulsa. Do the math. When Dewy and I drove my car from Lady Lake to Tulsa it took us 25 hours. I also have another sister who lives in Maryland and she even sees my mom more than my sisters in Florida. I just don't understand. I guess it is just my nature. I am a nurturer and I love to take care of people. I am a born party planner and organizer.
Oh, did I tell you guys that Sue, Robert, and I sat and talked to a tarot reader in New Orleans. OMG.... how spooky. She got me exactly. I don't know how she knew but one of the first things she said was that I was in turmoil with stress (go figure) and that was one of my problems for not being able to sleep and having stomach issues. AAAAhhhhh......... Robert almost died. Everyone at our table knew that I have insomnia and that I have stomach issues but we sure didn't tell her. She also said that I should open my own business. The funny thing is, Dewy and I have talked about me opening a catering business. I love to cook. I love to organize parties. I love that sort of stuff. In my job, I get to organize presentations and I'm in charge of the RSVP list, the catering and making sure that the entire presentation and event goes off without a problem. I get to do one a month. If I could do this for my job I would be in heaven. I think Dewy and I are really going to give this some thought.
Oh well, enough about me..... how is everyone doing? Do we have anyone else who just can't wait to go on the November 2009 cruise???? Come on..... I know you wanna go!!!!!! Just think, we can all give Stubby a really hard time. We can make fake phone calls, have security pick him up for drunk and disorderly behavior, we can make sure that the accupuncturist uses the BIG needles. You know, the fun stuff!!!!!!! Come on..... whose game!!!!!!!!

I also think it is because they are in such wonderful shape due to the sports they play. Warren Sapp is a really great guy in the off season. I have always liked him and now I even like him more. I will be rooting for him. I too agree that he will be around for the finals. If not, I guess Cloris Leachman can continue with the pity vote.
Ouch..... watching her was painful. I guess she has no concept of LIVE TV. Did you see how uncomfortable Tom Burgerack was? And I about died when Len told her to cover her cleavage. I had just told Dewy before he said that that he was going to have a fit about her cleavage hanging all over the judges table. I think that was the moment of ultimate funny!!!!!!

I will go check on your mom for you, heck I can even spy on your sisters who only live a few minutes from my work!
The cruise - I am sorry but I will nto be able to go, it is durring the school year and would not be able to take my kids out of school and having my mom watch them during the school year is just a little much with 2 different schools, 3 kids homework, and after school activites. But I will stay here and man the sand box!

Day 3
Our second full day at sea and Taylor's 6th birthday. That's right - OMG what are we going to do for his 7th? OK - so after all the partying last night we decided to sleep in - hey we're on vacation right and Taylor said we could since it was his day!?!?! We barely made it to breakfast in the dining room but of course the food and service was wonderful! We were off to wonderful day of playing on the ship - we played in the blackjack tournament - got spanked of course! Played video games and spent a wonderful day by the pool again because that was Taylor's favorite thing to do and this day was all about him.
Dinner time brought about the biggest part of his birthday celebration which of course was first a very special hat that the waiters made for him to wear:
Lorrie - did yours look anything like this?
Then of course the most awesome birthday cake! I can honestly say that I have tasted many different celebration cakes that the ships do and most of them taste of defrosted cardboard - this confection was delicious! Moist - yes I said moist chocolate cake layered inside with the lightest and fluffiest chocolate mousse covered in a dark chocolate ganache (oooo - sorry there I go again about the food!) And it was so big we had two slices left over to share with our wonderful wait staff Magi and Yoman!
And then the very bestest part according to Taylor which is the presents and his very own Nintendo DS.
All in all it was a wonderful birthday and I am sure one that he will not soon forget. Check out the haul of animals and friends that he collected:
More days to come - Jamaica is next and our favorite port of the whole trip!
