I'm on a strict calorie-monitoring regime and even signed back up to the gym... holding tight so far & already lost 2.5 pounds in a week! So, hopefully this will continue as I have some weight to lose!!

We're off to Magic Mountain on Sunday....the best day of the year to go...Superbowl Sunday!!! No lines... the place is dead...

I heard from Hanna. Procedure went well. She is home resting.

I'm trying to get work done. I need to complete reviews by Monday and the whole darn site is down. I'll probably have to work again this weekend. Just another day in Paradise.

Glad to hear she's all right.

Spent much of the day with sick girl. All that wind with a high pollen count doesn't help when one is susceptible to hay fever. I dropped off her homework at the school and her counselor told me that her Spanish teacher(the one who doesn't seem to like my daughter) was not there today. Hopefully she will be better in a few days as the band has a field trip to SC for the Grammy in the Schools Day.

Been researching the school that the girl plans to transfer to. They have a "virtual" school but also a marching band for the regular campus. But this one is a lot more "type A" than her current school's marching band. About five times the size,with rehearsal for football season starting in June and full band camp in August. The class itself meets just before 7am but it's not too far away so I don't think that would be too much of a problem. She just needs to not get sick. The virtual school can be mostly done at home (or at the school) and at the student's speed, which is a good selling point for her. A good friend of hers has been in this program for one and a half years now, but she's extremely intelligent. I sent an email to the coordinator with all sorts of questions and I guess we'll have to have a sit down with her this month.

Hello Runners. I spent all day Saturday working with a nice break in the middle for my haircut. I did get to go out on Saturday night.

Woke up today to a swollen eye. I had a mole removed from my face on Wednesday. I have a small rash from the bandaids. I must be allergic to something else to cause the whole eye to be swollen. I decided that maybe a superbowl party wasn't such a good idea so I stayed in and ordered pizza. Enjoyed the game but only since I taped it and could fast forward through the boring parts. I did watch all the commercials. I think the vampire one was my favorite.
