Yippee!!! SO glad to be going on the back third of your cruise foray! Joan & Phil, glad to see you are coming too! UK Phil, better hurry and book .... before Celebrity jacks up the price from the recent spike in bookings.

Garry, thanks for bringing up the fact that CONSTELLATION arrives the 2nd and thanks to Marj for bringing up CENTURY on the 2nd! I already know I will be flying into FLL, so I might as well come in the day before so that I can be on the welcoming committee for you CONNIE cruisers! What a day THAT will be.

Cheers~

What a treat! We were able to meet Andrew & Ed, Marj & Joel, Karyn & Bill, and Susan & Ed on our recent Connie TA. Now it looks like we'll be able to meet a whole lot more of the owls on this cruise! We reserved a mid-ship 2A online, but will see what Lori has when we transfer the booking to her tomorrow.

Ruth, how great! It'll just be me on this one...Bill has business committments that he just can't break free from...but I'm sure we'll have a ball!

Reality is about to set in.

Do you know what they are asking for a solo in the LOWEST price room? Over $1100 for five cotton=picking days.

I am paying that for TWELVE days on the Brilliance coming from Barcelona to Miami. Now Z is a good line, but that much better than its sister line, RCL?

I am going to have to look at this one again. I already booked it, without asking about the price. Figured it would be about what I have paid for others in the Caribbean -- They are going to recoup refit charges on Century in one season at this rate.

I am just a little old lady on pension. Three cruises a year are rich for my blood, and here are four in six months.

Oh well. It is only money.

love
joan

MOrning Owls! Well, I'm so glad I got this cruise on the map for us owls! What a great group this will turn out to be.

Joan - we've got a couple singles going so maybe something could work out with a share! Not sure how you feel about a roomie but I hear Andrew may be available

Seriously, this will be great. Its funny, when I first found this cruise it was because my kids will be away with their dad and I have the week available. Was trying to find a trip for Joel and I and it was the best fit for the dates. Now it turns out he may not go because their annual sales meeting is that week (his boss schedules for all the school holidays so she can combine her vacation with business!). Anyway, now instead of going with Joel, I'm going with a bunch of old friends and new friends. I'm really looking forward to it. I do need to book airfare kind of early because it gets expensive once the airlines figure out its Easter Break.

Marj, airfare, and a hotel so we can get in the day before .... I would love to greet the incoming OWLS at the pier ... we can always ride down to Miami with them. (And I HATE the Miami airport: it's a zoo, and they always lose my luggage.)

Joan, it looks like I am going by myself too .... I'll either have that wonderful SV to myself or will share it with someone else going alone. You sure would be welcome to share with me.

I can't wait to meet the Owls!

Cheers~

Nicki - I already looked at some air and it's below $300 right now for me to land either in Ft Lauderdale or Miami. Southwest and Jet Blue don't have the dates open yet, so I may hold out for them. Good point on the hotels too. Will have to keep an eye out, but maybe I'll just book something for now to have a hold on it.

There's a bunch of singles I think so we may be able to sort them all out and have some roomies if people are willing to share.
