Our next cruise is Celebrity Equinox 11 night Ultimate Caribbean out of Ft. Lauderdale. Wouldn't this be a nice interim cruise before your Hawaiian cruise???

Dang it... Not enough time in between Davids classes..... half way through the cruise David needs to be back in LA.. we will get it though,.... we miss the Caribbean so much..

In honor of Veterans Day and David being a veteran of Vietnam we were able to take advantage of special discounted rates for this cruise.. saving us a few hundred...thank goodness I knew where his DD214 was..

Way to take advantage of a great discount. Most of the major lines offer a fairly sizeable military discount. Way to save a few hundred bones.

We just booked this cruise about a week ago. We were orginally on the Radiance for 22 April, but are going to be closing on a new house soon, so needed to change because we will build more vacation time. We are excited to be going to Hawaii, as we have never been there. We also got a great military rate for our room.

I'm so glad. I hope you get the chance to meet up with Joey and David. Hawaii has forever imprinted itself upon my mind and is truthfully - my special place - I go to in my head when all else seems to be getting a little too much.

Wow, I have seen the prices of homes in Vegas and the big drop over the last two years. You are buying at the right time.

Hey, just noticed this thread. Funny but we have been talking about possibly booking this saiing too,. Will decide after the Equinox trip in March.

That's why DH thought it was time to buy a bigger house. We will rent out the house we have now, and hopefully in 10 years or so when we are ready to retire, we will make enough to make sure all our bills are payed off so we can retire.
