Are you kidding? Of course! Allen and I have an "OPen cabin policy" We're having a BYOBeverage Sail away and Lyn is going to be ordering a cake to surpise her DH Malc for his B-day which is the same day!
Cannnot wait to meet you in person.....BTW....here's a link some one was gracious enough to provide me that shows the same cabin on the Summit.
My thanks to who ever gave this to me... I cannot recall and for that I am sorry...
We are in 8166 for our Summit LA to Hawaii roundtrip the 26th of this month. Friends were in 9156 on the Summit last September and we got to see it. We are so excited!
It's even on the right side of the ship as we pass the volcano between Hilo and Kona at night so we are going to have a "viewing" party on our balcony. We should be able to host quite a few people.
Susan, I think on some trips, Celebrity assumes that there won't be a lot of families and they open them up. We got our cabin about 2 days after the itinerary was announced and our TA assured me that it was a legal booking for 2 and we would not be bumped. I would absolutely NOT think of a Sky Suite as an upgrade from that cabin, so I'm glad it never came up.
bob, The extra large balcony cabins are over the theater. Can you tell me if they are noisy? thanks
Peg
I'm not Bob, but, I stayed in 6035 and a friend
had 6020. They were both the large balcony forward 2C
cabins. There was no noise that we could hear in either cabin.
We were planning to book when we're onboard in 10 days but when I called Celebrity to see how many of the extended balcony rooms were left, there were only 3. He gave me a "senior" dicount, which was a little more than the onboard credit for booking so I went ahead and booked. Can't wait to have our first balcony room!

You are eligible for the senior discount, if still available,
when you are on your cruise in 10 days. Get with the
future cruise consultant as soon as you can, after boarding,
and see if your current booking could receive the OBC. If
not, see if another of the large balcony cabins is available and book that, then cancel your other booking.
The forward 2C large balcony cabins are the last to sell
as many don't know about them and they are not shown
as larger than normal on the deck plans.
Reggie,
The only problem that I see with the extended balocnies is the lack of privacy. Sure, you have the additional room but the people right above you are looking right down on you. There goes the nude sunbathing (as if!!!!)
