There are 16 cabins on deck 6 in category 2C that have balconies that are twice the size of the standard balcony. They are just forward of the lifeboats and just aft of the forward oceanview cabins. They are the first 8 2C cabins on both sides of the ship. I was in 6035 and a client in 6020.
The oversize balcony is not reflected in the deck plans, but they are fully twice the standard size.
The 2 forward corner oceanview cabins on deck 6 and 7 are huge, probably between 250 and 300 SF. The cabin window looks forward and this would be the choice for anyone looking for added space without the extra price of a suite. The cabins are 6004, 6005, 7002 and 7003.
Both of these anomilies are also on the other Millenium class ships.
Accroding to the latest Captain's Club newsletter, they have finally decided how to resolve the Cirque d'Soleil issue. The Bar at teh Edge of teh Earth will remain a bar, disco observation area and teh CDC will actually PERFORM in the theatre! Has anybody sailed on Summit or Connie since this began?
I read in a recent post (I can't remember where:thumbsdow ) that there were talks of returning the Bar at the Edge... to its original pre Cirque form.
If I find the post I'll put it here.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the plan of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body totally worn out, screaming "WOOHOO what a ride!"

The aft cabins are like most other M Class Ships. Also - pix of the Connie will be coming up in the Gallery. I will be postin some from our Baltic cruise from 5/2006 and when we get back - some newer pix from our upcoming MArch 07 cruise!
OK ! WHO HAS PICTURES OF the updated COnnie? While we were on her in March 07, we were told that she was going into drydock for stateroom upgrades and a new engine. Does anyone have any pix of the new room decor?
