CENTURY - Concierge Cabin...CAN ANYBODY HELP ME PICK A CABIN? - Cruise Line Fans: Cruise Reviews and Chat From Real Cruisers

Hi everybody!

We are sailing Barcelona to Barcelona this fall on the Century. Our group has us set up with Concierge Cabins - and I plan to contact either my TA or Celebrity to see if I can get the exact location I want for my preferences...which include a high level deck for seeing things with binoculars, the correct side of the ship for seeing the ports I especially want to see as we arrive/leave each port. Yes, I am really into seeing onto shore from my own private balcony...

But here's my question: Does anybody know of any Concierge cabins that should be avoided for any reason...like a really noisy location, an obstructed view, or situated right next to or under something undesirable? Or for that matter - does anybody know of a Concierge cabin that is to- die-for out-of-this-world wonderful, special and great for any particular reason?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

PS - I know...before you say it. I know I can look at the layout of the ship on the Celebrity website and choose a cabin that way. But we all know what you see isn't always what you get and sometimes little details like casino noise or a lifeboat or pillar right outside your balcony isn't mentioned on a cruiseline's website. I want to hear from you Celebrity super-knowledgable cruise pros who have been there, done that...and will tell me the real deal

Julie, I wish I could help you but I've only had Sky Suites on the Sky Deck, which to me, are the best cabins on the Century. The verandas are fabulous and the cabins are roomy.
