Concierge service V butler service - help

Hi all, I am new to the joys of cruising but the bug has bitten- I was wondering whether some of you could answer a fairly basic question.

I have read on some of the posts that on Celebration Millenium ships -the sky suite butler service does not include the concierge service (in sky suites your are not allowed /brought flowers etc etc )- is that correct ??

I am booking into a sky suite on Celebrity Constellation - just want to know if I should switch to the CC service

    Many Thanks

    Pat

Hi Pat.... Yes it is true suites do not have the same benefits as Concierge....just as Concierge doesn't get afternoon beverage service and other benefits of Suite and butler service...

We had a butler on our first Celebrity Cruise and Glad we did (everyone if given the chance should have it once)...however on our next two cruises we have opted for CC class because we wanted specific Aft Cabins and they were Concierge and not Butler/sky suite or above...

Pat Both have their Pluses and Minuses.. both are exceptional in their own right, but then again this is just my opinion.

PS....It is true that flowers don't come in Suites.. but I always buy flowers for the stateroom anyway.. and normally get a great deal from the florist on board last cruise I got two boutonnières and 18 roses for 50 dollars

Joey is right Book the Sky Suite and purchase flowers for the suite from the onboard florist. IMHO, the amenities of SS outweigh CC. Nothing like having my capuccino brought to me every morning at 8 a.m. ... well dh does it at home, but he doesn't wear a bow tie

Sorry, I wish I could answer. In looking high and low on the Celebrity website, I could not find anywhere that it said there was priority tender service. The only mention I could find for priority tender was for Captain's Club Elite Members. Staying in a suite in December we did receive priority tender service in December, but do not see that mentioned on the website today either. I could have just overlooked it though. . . You may want phone Celebrity and hope you get a straight answer. Ask them where in writing it is located on their website.

Depending on where you cruise too may make a difference. In December on a 12 night cruise we only had one tender port. Would not have even needed priority tender if we had not booked a private excursion and the ship had gotten in to port late. This year we are on an 11 nighter with no tender ports.
