Thread: Summit Hawaii 3/26

Hi folks,

I recently discovered these great boards, but have been unable to find a roll call for the March 26th Summit cruise.

I know there are only a few weeks left, but perhaps we can set a record for biggest roll call in 20 days

Anyway, we are Bob and Phyllis, known as WVU Fan, cabin 9018. We're from Vienna WV, around 60, and look forward to meeting new folks here before we board

Bob, I really think that the DS roll call is O.K. I'm able to access it, even though Bob says he's having problems. Since Chris has complained about our Connie Hooters cruise roll call too, I think that they are just having problems with the roll call.

For those not understanding what has been going on, a bunch of us were very active on another message board, but had a falling out with the administrators and got run off. We love it here, and are having a lot of fun with a great bunch of folks, so there are certainly no regrets.

One of the threads that some of us participated in on the other board was the roll call. I was not able to find it today and thought that it had been deleted. As Garry said above, that may just be a technical problem.
Garry, I hope that is the case as it would be unbelievably mean spirited to snuff our thread.

Regardless, perhaps there are some of you who are on the cruise who have not yet joined in on a roll call, and perhaps we can serve that purpose here in the little time we have left.

If so, please join in and we will supply some links to all sorts of good stuff-we even have our own website, thanks to Bob and Garry!

I can't find either of our roll calls...you know where....
But I can tell massages are being posted as it shows up on my sub list with the time of the last post. But can't find it when I click it.


Well, at least the problem helped be find this board. Interesting - I'll take a look around.

Larry, go to the Introduce yourself and watch what happens. Also, you must come over to the Owl's thread and visit with all of your friends.

Since I can still get into the roll calls and Bob can't, nor can others, I think there's some other problem. By the way, we call the other board the "Dark Side" or DS.

Hello to all...what happened on the other board. I went on to say goodmorning, and it was no longer there. That along with Chester's postings were pretty much the only reason I still visited the site. Oh well. We can just keep this one rolling along. I need morning jokes!

Today is DH and my 19th wedding anniversary. Honey, if you decide to take a peek...I love you!

Only six more working days for me until we cruise! Unless I pick up an extra shift to help out the postcruise, taxes-due pocketbook.

Well when we got close to 5000 posts
We must have irritated our hosts
Instead of welcoming us there
We disappeared into thin air
Instead of guests we were ghosts

It looks like the original roll call was restored, but I think we should try to keep this one going in some fashion in case there are fellow cruisers on this board who have not yet found us.

Hi gang,

Guess what - I found you. Lucy told me about this and I think it's a great alternative. I can't access half of that other place any more and the problems aren't worth the trouble. So, here goes.
