We just got a fabulous last minute deal. We're sailing on Celebrity Zenith Nov. 27 to Dec.8. We will be celebrating both our birthdays while on board. DH was surfing around the other night while I, ironically, was on this site and he came across this deal. So we jumped on it and the rest is history. So now I have some quick packing to do, and all the fun stuff. We are driving to Tampa. We have never gone out of Florida before, nor have we ever driven to a cruise ship.
We're not going on your cruise, but we always have driven to the Port! Love it!! Dread it when we will have to fly!! When we can drive to the Port we can take as much as we want!!
Where does your cruise take you?

It will be a long drive for us, but we are looking forward to it and considering it part of the holiday. When I think of packing, it seems so much easier. I'm getting info off this board for the port of Tampa and everything seems pretty straight forward. We are going to Nassau, San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Tortola and Key West. We have never been to Nassau or Key West, we've only been in San Juan once to board a ship, and we've sailed into St. Thomas once 10 years ago. St. Maarten is a favourite of both of us. We've been there many times and stayed on the island also. We are so looking forward to this, who doesn't look forward to their cruise once it's booked! Our very first cruise was exactly 10 years ago for DH's 40th. Since I found this site a year ago, it makes it even more fun, and any questions one might have are answered so fast.

That's a great itinerary!! I'm sure it's going to be fabulous!! What made you choose this cruise--the cruiseline? or the itinerary? or..??

Several things came into play choosing this cruise. This was a last minute booking, we've been watching for awhile. We've heard and read great things about Celebrity, and we really like the itinerary. We've never gone out of Florida before so we thought that would be interesting too. It is 11 days, and 7 never seems long enough and the price was fantastic. We will be cruising for both of our birthdays, so given all of the above it just seemed perfect. The only thing we are not sure about is the cabin assignment. We have never cruised before without knowing what cabin was ours when we booked. We only know that we have outside, but given everything else we feel we can live with the "whatever cabin" factor.

Wow! Does sound perfect!! I'm with you on the cabin!! Sometimes I like to have a guarantee and let them put us where ever. Have never been disappointed!! We can always find a reason as to why it is a great spot to be!! There may be a poor spot to have a cabin on a ship but I don't know where it would be--of course, if there is--I don't want to find it!!

I keep looking at the one following yours... the western itinerary goes to my favorite port - Roatan, Honduras.
Just don't know if I can swing that much time off, though!

Hi have a wonderful flight and cruise. Just a tip with a heads up, keep checking online your airfare and seat location, We've booked a cruise in 22 weeks found a wonderful deal for air fare, but then checked again and they had cancelled our flight on delta and re-booked us on a red-eye right before our cruise. We didn't even recieve a call, we called delta and switched flights so we will arrive the day before like we planned instead of an hour before the cruise. I'm sure your flights are fine, but its alway safe to double check.
