Thread: Millennium 11/24/06 - Transatlantic westbound

Hello,

Just checking if there are any other cruiselinefans booked on this 16-night Transatlantic adventure! We're doing it back to back with the December 10 Eastern Caribbean cruise. We sailed Millennium 3 times before and can't wait to get back on the ship and to visit all those beautiful ports in Italy! Anybody joining us? :-)

We are sailing with you on the 11-24 leg. I usually post on the DS - sign off sometimes as Faith. I wonder what happened to Michelle & her PS party? Also, is Don still around? Everything seems to be falling apart with tours, etc. Hope everything will be ok for all!

Hi Faith,

I couldn't post this on the DS because it is not allowed to discuss other people over there, but I have sources in Celebrity and there never was a 'Michelle' booked in the Penthouse Suite. The PS party was a hoax. If somebody posts for the first time, immediately offers to throw a party for 100+ people and promises unlimted free alcohol, I get suspicious ;-)

Don is no longer posting on the DS because somebody complained to the moderators that he was 'selling private tours'. They subsequently banned him and he then cancelled the tours. I know opinions on Don differ, but I have met him on a past cruise and in real live he really is a nice guy. He is definitely not making any money on the tours he arranges. He invest a lot of time in it, and helps all of us save some money compared to the much higher Celebrity tour prices. But apparently it was not meant to be.

But enough about all the pre-cruise problems! I am looking forward to 16 wonderful nights on Millennium and visists to some of the most beautiful cities in Europe. I can't wait until we sail!

Thanks for the information, Floris. I kind of felt in limbo when all these things occurred so it makes me feel more comfortable with your explanation. We will certainly see you on board the Millie & hope to have a great cruise! It is drawing closer & I feel like I have a geat deal to do! Oh well, 6 days coming back I can figure out what I forgot to do on the way out!
