    Millennium ships, cabins 7002, 7003

Hi I am wondering if anyone has had cabins 7002 or 7003 on any of the Millennium class ships, Millennium, Infinity, Summit or the Constellation.

I believe these outside forward facing corner cabins on Vista Deck are larger than most and from the deck plan appear to be almost twice the size of a regular cabin.

I would appreciate some idea of the cabin layout or better still any pics.

    Cheers,

    Ingo

I was wondering the same thing, Ingo. I am reserved in one of those cabins this winter and was interestd in the size, layout and noise from the anchor. If anyone has pictures I'm sure we would both be interested in taking a look.

    Hi Lauren,

I did get a reply on another forum which had a link to a website with photos of Celebrity cabins. Unfortunately these were not listed but there was a link to 6004 and 6005 which are Cat 5 wheelchair access cabins. They are similarly placed but from the deck plan have a slightly different shape and appear to be a little larger. This is the link: http://www.geocities.com/mahdnc/Cabinpix.html You will find them listed against Infinity.

I have read something about the noise from the anchor but I don't remember which ship or cabins were affected. It isn't something that would bother us and at any rate it would at least alert us to an arrival and then only if the ship is required to anchor.

    Cheers,

    Ingo

Talking Grab 'em if you can

The PICS of the HC cabin aren't really a good representation of the cabins you are looking at. A better representation would be cabins 8004 and 8007 on the Mercury. Those are shown at the link posted above. The best is shown in the link for 8004. Here's the direct link, if it doesn't work, use the link above and click on Mercury cabin 8004.

Our cabin 8004 pictures from cruises photos on webshots

I have no doubt that you would be very pleased with either of those cabins.
I'd go as far as to say those would be the best OV cabins on the ship and would
be my first choice. I've been in 8004 on Infinity with 9-10 people in the cabin and wasn't elbow to elbow in the least. Grab one if you can.

BTW, the anchor noise problem would only affect tender ports and I'd say it wouldn't be all that bad anyway. It's the same situation as affects any forward cabin to some extent.

Thank you both. Too bad there aren't any pictures of the actual staterooms. If you take any, Ingo, it would be great if you put them on the web. Since you have seen the room Reggie, could you tell me if the bed is located at the far end of the cabin or somewhere else.

Yes, check your PM as I sent you a detailed reply to your question there.

My suggestion would be to book it if it is still available.

Had stateroom 7003 on Summit July 2009, huge stateroom. Was noise from anchor when tendering, however the time was usually at about 0730 so not to much hassle, but worth it for the size of stateroom. Hope this helps.
