Chris, you were on that cruise??????? I loved it. The ship stayed in St. Johns until the next morning so everyone left the ship and went to the local bars until well past midnight (we stayed on the ship and relaxed). The folks up there in both cities were so nice. Did you go on the private tour that a few of the people on the cruise arranged?

No - we just wandered around town for a while and enjoyed ourselves. Like you, we enjoyed both ports. Was perfectly happy to get to know Halifax. Were you as surprised as we were at how fast they rustled up a berth and shorex for us there?

Yes, and the weather in Halifax cooperated beautifully. It was bright and sunny and perfect. We took the HOHO bus around and loved just seeing the city and the fort. I wanted to go through the immigration museum but we did not have time.
