Thread: From the Observation Lounge — where are Char & Bobster today?

Char and Bob are departing from Miami tomorrow (Saturday) evening aboard Celebrity Eclipse. I would like to wish them an enjoyable cruise..
　
This thread is being submitted early as I am away on a family weekend in a very nice part of England. We are going to my youngest son who lives in the West Pennine Moors between Blackburn and Bury in Lancashire.
　
I shall be back on Sunday evening, if anyone wishes to contribute in my absent I would be most grateful.

Celebrity ships look very attractive from the outside, hope Char and Bob says the same about the inside of the Eclipse.
　
Have compiled a second Itinerary, showing the ship they will meet in the ports as they cross the Atlantic Ocean.

I have also included a global view of the first part of their cruise.

I believe that Char & Bobster have already headed down to Miami and will be spending a day pre-cruise there.

Hey y'all!

We had an uneventful flight down to Fort Lauderdale this morning. We used SAS Transportation to take us to our Miami hotel. Excellent service with a price of $45 per couple.

Interestingly, the other 2 couples in the van are sailing a Celebrity ship tomorrow. One will be on the Century and the other couple will be with us on the Eclipse. They now have a new cruise forum address and I hope to see them over here in the not too distant future.

We are staying at the Marriott and have a lovely room on one of the Concierge floors...but, unfortunately, the Concierge Lounge isn't open on Friday or Saturday! Bummer.

I'll check in again after we get our internet package set up on the Eclipse.

Char did not check in yesterday - I bet she had way to much cake and martinis....cruising can be such hard work sometimes...
