Make the coffee less bitter and supply a self service laundry.
I hope you are going to pass these suggestions on![]()

Tony, I agree with the coffee...it really depends on where you get it, though.![]()
Try all the venues where they serve coffee and find a place that suits your taste. Sometimes it seems like they are serving New Orleans style coffee with chicory.
You won't see a self service laundry on any Celebrity ships now or in the future. It is their upscale style to want to pamper you in every respect...so nothing that smacks of "housework" will be found on their ships.![]()
Having ships sailing out of Charleston and JAX ... like they once did.

Oh LuLu, that would be divine! I hope when they complete the new terminal, that some Celebrity ships will berth there.
On the S-class, I wish they would get rid of those awful sofas. They are rock hard. I've heard that the new Silhouette ones are better, so that's a start. I also wish they hadn't gotten rid of the hand-held shower nozzles in all bathrooms below Aqua Class. I really miss them!

JAX is Jacksonville, FL.
Celebrity use to also have a ship going out of Baltimore, which was great! Did it a couple of times - too bad it was only the Galaxy, which was one of their smaller older ships that was not as nice as others. But then Carnival came to town along with RCCL, and Celebrity left.

Ah, a question I can really get into. I loved almost everything about Celebrity except for two things....they are embarkation and debarkation. This is definitely one area where they could take a page out of NCL's book. We were absolutely so shocked that when we were directed to go to the escalator to check in for boarding that a rep for RCCL/Celebrity questioned us to why we were coming up and then proceeded to scream down to hold anyone else that they had planned to send up. When we went through the metal detector, we were rushed so that my hubby left his belt (thankfully they did hold on to it!) at the security area. Never had we ever had this experience. Debarkation was also a little different....we didn't see the paper we needed to fill out (it was under some other papers that were left for the day by our steward which wasn't good as we had an earlier flight out). Thankfully that ended well, however we encountered more unfriendly RCCL/Celebrity employees. It's really saying something when the Customs agent was way more friendly than the employees that are being kept in a job because you chose to take a cruise are. We did get our after cruise comment card and I let them know about these situations. I guess it just caught me off guard due in part to the upscale experience that Celebrity tries to project.
We will be self embarking and debarking the next cruise because of this. It doesn't look like it's going to matter much as we are cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale and the flights are later in the day, but it will be so much easier on us.
