    Bringing drinks on board? Infinity-Alaska

Hi everyone! My first cruise on Celebrity is one week away! Woo hoo!

Just wondering if we can bring sodas and water on board in the individual ports, I 've rented a car in Ketchikan, thought we might stop at a store and stock up? Also if we don't bring any wine on at embark, can we bring it on in Ketchikan?

    Thanks!

Water and soda have never been a problem with Celebrity.

Have a great time on Infinity. We have been on her a number of times and to Alaska twice on her.

Thanks Char! Do you think they will let us bring a bottle of wine on?

You can take 2 bottles of wine per cabin --- but only at the embarkation port...not ports of call. Put them in your carryon rather than packing them.
You room steward will be happy to supply you with wine glasses and also an ice bucket if you are bringing white wine.

If you choose to take a bottle to the dining room there will be a $25 corkage fee. If you have a balcony, enjoy it out there, relaxing and looking at the wonderful scenery that Alaska has to offer.

    No hard liquor, tho.

I can't bring them in my carry on, we are flying to the port, and won't have time to stop.

That's okay, we can go to Michael's club for a glass of wine before dinner I guess.

When I flew to Fl from VA, I brought two bottles of wine in my luggage(checked), just bubble wrapped it and put in a plastic bag. I took it out once we landed put in my carry on luggage.
