Lars, below is what is posted on the Celebrity web site----we enjoyed the new benefits immensly! They are a lot better than RCI with the exception that Celebrity doesn't give the balcony discount off the cruise fare. Free internet and free laundry are very much appreciated.

Our Elite members are true cruise aficionados and our most loyal guests. If you're a part of this special group, we're going to bend over backwards to ensure that each and every cruise experience offers you all the recognition and rewards you so richly deserve.

That means unprecedented levels of service, access and rewards. And as part of the new Captain's Club launch, we've added some rich new benefits designed to make your cruise with us even more convenient, exclusive and enjoyable.

For those interested in a quiet haven of their own, Celebrity is pleased to introduce the Captain's Club Lounge at Michael's Club, exclusively for Elite members and their stateroom/suite companions each morning and early evening.

This new lounge will offer a casual coffeehouse-style experience from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., with complimentary espressos, teas and other menu items, a variety of reading materials, and, on Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Equinox, wi-fi access.

Every evening from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Captain's Club Elite members and their stateroom/suite companions can return to the Lounge to enjoy socializing with fellow members, participate in a wine tasting event, or simply relax and enjoy a quiet, complimentary drink before dinner.

And this is only the beginning. So come aboard, and let us remind you once again how much our most loyal members mean to us. Elite Member Benefits (*After 10 earned tier credits)

They really have improved the benefits on Celebrity.
In some ways Elite is starting to look better than Diamond Plus on Royal Caribbean.

    Thank you.

The coffee house breakfast I presume is the same style as offered in the CL on RCCL??

The complimentary pressing and dry cleaning (1-2 items so I really have to be selective as to which shirt is getting dry cleaned and which 2 are getting presses) is very good so is also the wash dry fold offer.

I also like very much the disembarkation breakfast. I loved it when we had suite breakfast in Chops on the Brilliance of the seas.

Do we get a welcome letter when we board telling us all these things???

Are these perks only for Elite memebers or are they available to suite guests also??

We just got off the Equinox and enjoyed our Elite status perks. Internet is #1 on my list since I need to keep in touch with things back home and be able to submit my columns and other writing online.

Laundry was #2 on the list. It cut back on the packing which cut back on a suitcase and saved money on charges for luggage with the airline. Very generous allotment there.

The afternoon get together is much appreciated too with snacks and beverages. On the smaller ships, it is more intimate and you meet more people. On the Century, there were less than a hundred Elite, I believe, and we had a great Capt. Club hostess that kept introducing us to each other. Great way to meet and make friends.

Yes, the perks are helping to keep Celebrity up on the top of my list of favorite cruise lines. And they really do read those comment cards!

Notice that the perks are for the whole cabin, not just for the one who has the Elite status.
