Do You Dine in Speciality (extra cost) Restaurants on Celebrity Cruises?

While taking a Celebrity cruise, do you dine in their Speciality (extra cost) restaurants?

Your comments would be appreciated.

Only on Celebrity's Azamara ships. Each pax is entitled to 2 specialty dinings on the cruise for the cost of the tip ($5). Usually pax can use the specialty restaurants more than twice and a few pax use them almost every night.

On the Celebrity ships only when others in our party wants to try it.

We ate in the specialty restaurant on the Connie. Loved it. Food was even better than in the main dining room and the service was perfect.

I put down 1-2 times but that's on the M and C class ships. Now that we have the new S-class ships, we'll be eating in specialty restaurants more often. They have Murano, Silk Harvest and Tuscan Grille, and for a lighter meal, Bistro on Five. On our 14 day transatlantic cruise next month, we already have 4 reservations made, and may make others.

Garry ....PLEASE, be sure to tell us which you liked best when you return.

We've only sailed on Galaxy and Zenith so we haven't had the opportunity to do so yet.

On the M-class ships, you MUST eat at Murano's. It's excellent. On the S-class, we have only eaten in Murano's and Tuscan Grille and we liked Tuscan Grille better, but only because of the selections offered. I'm looking forward to trying Silk Harvest. Oh goodness, now I'm hungry. I think I'll go start dinner!

For us it depends on the length of the cruise historically we have done two nights on a 2 week cruise( or there about) so it is working out once a week..

Great question by the way..

Oh yes!

We just got off the Infinity and ate at the SS United States to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. Exquisite food and impeccable service!

They prepare Bob's salt free courses to perfection!

I do miss the Harpist, though. It sure added that special touch to the ambiance.

Oh yes! Murano's is on the Century! I remember some great meals there.

On the Summit we dined in the SS Normandie and on Millennium it was the RMS Olympic. Our most recent was the Infinity last week in the SS United States. They can't be beat!
