I think I understand, but the more I ponder the more I'm confused. There could be a lot of unused spaghetti in my suitcase.

Sorry -

If ALL you plan to do is audio from your iPod via the TV speakers, all you will need is the cable between your iPod dock and the stereo inputs on the TV --- probably a 1/8" (aka 3.5mm) stereo for your iPod docking station to the pair of white/red RCA plugs on the TV.

There's barely even a slim chance that there will be a SCART on the rear of the set for you to do audio that way, so I'd leave that one at home altogether. SCART was a French invention that never caught on for NTSC (North American) standard TVs, only PAL standard ones.

Hey, wouldn't have had a clue without that GREAT photo you posted. I didn't even know what brand of sets we were up against. If anyone wants to bring a DVD player, etc., this info should help them a lot, too.

OK you two should really get a life that doesn't involve electronics. Maybe Alpaca farming or something like that.

that is the funniest picture!!!! I'm glad you knew I was kidding around with you. I actually have quite a few friends here in AZ who have Alpacas but I've never seen one look like that.
