For our upcomming cruise in November on the Connie...I wanted to send the Captain, the head Maitre D, Food and Beverage Director the Hotel Director and the Cruise Director a bottle of wine at Embarkation.. I have two questions..
1) how can i Confirm who is serving in these positions so I may personalize the card that goes with the wine.
and
2) what would be the best way to ensure those 5 bottles get on board and to the proper officers?

How nice of you, Joey!
I would call the Captain's Club and ask this question. If they don't know they should be able to find out for you.

and in the mean time some other CLFers might have a soultion...
As far as gettig the bottles onboard, Celebrity ships do not accept gift baskets (wine, flowers, etc) from non-approved vendors.
So you would have to order the wine from Celebrity gifts.

Thanks for your post...
That would depend on the total number of bottles you need to take. It's easy enough to get a good deal more than 2 bottles along with you to your cabin without raising any concerns. Feel free to PM me if necessary.
Also, one wonders if, in this strangely paranoid world we're in these days, if gifts of food or beverage for so many high ranking members of the staff would be allowed in any case. Even the kindest gesture can represent a potential threat in the minds of some.

Celebrity is very accomodating in almost every request that I have made. If you booked with a TA, they should be able to make the inquiries for you, otherwise I would start with the Captain's Club. If they can't arrange it for you they will probably be able to find out who can. If you hit a roadblock ask for customer service.
