A couple of times we sat near the pianist. I think that was a good spot. Can't remember, though, what level it was.

I like upper or lower. I think the main thing is where your table is on either. If on the upper, it's nice to be by the railing or on a window. On the lower level, close to the captain's table or by a window is nice.

Pros.....Upper level .....Mercury

With less tables upstairs less people = better service...IMHO

People watching on both levels......Downstairs can't see upper level.....

More room outside of closed dining room doors upper.......

Can't walk straight thru [ forward to aft] on deck 5 because of Kitchen......

Too many lost people....... see above......

Elevator after dinner is always full on deck 5....see above......

I will be happy at any table in the Manhattan............

Thanks for all your feed back.......

On this last cruise we were moved to an upper off the rail.....(sounds like a Pullman or a race track). and I realized this was the first upper level for us. Like others I think location rather than level is most important.

So far a table we had next to a window tucked away near the back (facing the Captain's Table) has been our favorite.

Upper-by a window. I feel upstairs in quieter. Window or railing. We were at a table for 2 recently food came out, piping hot too.window on one side, and wood paneling on another. 2 opens sides.

Great table.
