Purchasing Liquor in Grand Cayman

Has anyone been able to purchase liquor in Grand Cayman and take it with you from the store or does ever liquor store in GC make you have it delivered back to the ship? What if you want a bottle to take on a picnic?

The two places we stopped, they took your order and delivered it to the sihp. We decided against it but the rest were doing it. I wonder if there are other stores that will just give it to you

Mike I have purchased it before and taken it back to the ship..........I just don't remember which store it was......maybe when Rena gets home she'll remember. I'll post back if she does.

Jim, thanks............they weren't letting anyone take it at two different stores when we were there. One of the stores was the one where the tender comes and the other one was in town.

Jim, I've always just walked right in, been x-rayed and no one has never taken anything from me. I guess I've just been lucky or DH and I don't look like big drinkers
