Reggie...that is the point...things are changing very fast...'proposals' can become the rule very quickly... With the information I was given, I felt that to get the passports would be the best scenario. The possibilities were just too nasty, if things were to go wrong and I didn't want to chance it. Still, it is discouraging and cofusing that there are so many different opinions out there. When you are under the gun, so to speak, it really helps to know what is fact and what is speculation or simply incorrect information.

We were there in June 2005 and were not required to have a passport on or off the ship, hmmmmm.

PASSPORTS: 1. Passport valid for period of stay required by all except nationals of Canada, the USA and the UK, provided holding proof of nationality (such as a birth certificate or a notarised affidavit of citizenship) and provided return or onward ticket shows that the visitor will leave the Cayman Islands within one month. Photo identification is also required, such as a driving licence.
