    Grand Cayman Turtle Farm.

Our Western Carib cruise is coming up in a couple months. Karen loves turtles (so do I, they're tasty). Just wondering if anyone has been to the turle farm, have comments about it and the best way to get there.

In fact any other comments about Grand Cauman would be appeciated. It's our first time there.

I've never been there either, but have good diving information about GC and diving the area around the turtle farm.

You planning on doing any shore diving?

Been there twice (before Ivan hit it). Did both times on a tour so I could go to Hell and be kicked out (just so I can say I've been to Hell and they don't want me there. LOL). Best way is by car because it's at the end of 7 Mile Beach (about 8 miles from the port).

The Turtle Farm is great. Much more interesting than I thought it would be.

There is a new Senor Frogs in Grand Cayman if you are interested.

It is true what they say about the prices there. Cheap to buy booze to take home but very expensive to eat & drink there.

Well worth the trip. You can actually pickup the turtles. And very easy to get there by local bus. Ask where the bus station is (a short walk from the dock) I think the fare was 2.00 dollars. Bus drops you right in front. If you have a small group ie 3-5 people take a taxi.

If we do any diving it will be snorkel. I saw your roll call post. We will do the same trip in February. Let us know how you enjoyed it
