Well that is an email address and not a website. So you could email him and ask for details and his website. I have never heard of him...
I have been to Cozumel many times and LOVE it. What are you wanting to do there? At the port, there is a huge designated area (very organized) with tons of taxis available if you are going somewhere specific, I would just use any of them...but if you are wanting a private tour around the area research him a good bit...
Having been to Grand Cayman many times, we never use a taxi and never take any shore excursions. We much prefer to go to 7-Mile Beach and just hang out at Calico Jack's. Public transportation, in the form of vans not buses, are available everywhere with the cost at $2.50 per person each way. We were just there in December and had a great time. We spend a short time shopping, but usually not much else anymore. There is some great snorkeling right by the pier where you get off the tenders - one is to the right near the main downtown area and the other is to the left - both are very nice. If you want to do Stingray City, I highly recommend an independent tour that will be much less crowded than the 'cattle' boat offered by the cruise lines. But if you've never been to Stingray City, it's a wonderful experience and you don't need to worry about safety - it's completely safe.
We really like Grand Cayman as a port of call - it's one of our favorites.

We had an excursion booked privately through Captain Marvin's to snorkel and swim with the Stingrays, but the water was so rough there the day we were in port that it was cancelled. We were really dissapointed, but it was still a beautiful day so we spent it exploring the town and sampling rum cake!! :-)

The Tortuga rum cake! Don't they have some different and delicious flavors? We don't buy the rum cake---we buy the rum! It's a good buy and it mixes well. I have used the coconut rum to make my own rum cake and it was pretty good, if I do say so myself.
I know Pete has mentioned that he's not crazy about the Tortuga rum...he likes the really good rum for sipping.
The rum cake we brought home says "Blackbeard's" on it. It tasted just as good as the other stuff we tried and we got a better deal! Bought it off of someone selling it along one of the little streets and brought home 6 small cakes plus a huge cake for $30! We had banana (my favorite), hurricane (my hubby's favorite), cocunut, pina colada, original, and traditional (this one had nuts in it). They were all very very good!!! We are taking our big one to a party tonight to finish it off!
As Char mentioned, I really don't like the Tortuga rum or rum cake. There is much better stuff on the island - the fun part is trying them all until you find one that you like.

Dear Lets cruise and everyone else, thank you so much for getting back with me, as it is less than two weeks away, and I'm StILL trying to make decisions for us.
First, Mandy you are right, unfortunately my head was not on straight when I mentioned that I couldn't get ahold of a Mike Thompson in "Cozumel." I did email him and had a reply waiting for me when I came in work this morning. He gave me a general idea (when I emailed, I did not tell him what we wanted to do) of what prices were, and said they had to raise them a little. This is what he quoted me, and I am wondering if this is a good price. (I believe standard Taxi prices are $50 for two hours as posted.)
He said for 3 hours it would be $95, plus each additional hour would be $25 per vehicle. He does not furnish anything, other than the A/C transportation. Food/park entry fees, etc. we are responsible for.
If anyone can enlighten me on the above of what you think, I would appreciate a reply back.
As for rum cakes, we love them too. Are the rum cakes in Cozumel and Grand Cayman both, or which island? As it will be 19 years since I have been to these islands, I don't remember which island I got the rum cakes from. Please advise me which or both islands and I will try to look for the name, "Blackbeard" rum cake, instead of Tortuga.
You can rent a car in Cozumel from $75 - $90 on average and do you own thing for the entire day. We were there in December and rented a car for the day for $60 - much better than hiring a taxi.
