    Alantis Sub Excrusion?

This is the "Sub" that goes down 100ft. Have you (or someone you know) done this? Is it worth it? Should we try?
There is another one what only goes just on the surface and you sit under the water, this one says it submurges to 100ft to see other fish/marine life.
    Any thoughts?

We did the Atlantis in Aruba. I'm pretty sure it's the same one. It was ok...wouldn't do it again though. It was pretty cramped so you better like your neighbor.
The view was neat though. Fishies and stuff.

    Thanks Hanna,
I wondered how cramped it would be, the pic on the Carnival website makes it look roomy, but I figured they probably used the most flattering view.
I want to see the pretty stuff-> fishes and plantlife, but am not one for swimming or snorkeling in deep water, so maybe I will just get friendly with those around me

We have done the Atlantis sub in Grand Cayman and I do recommend it! You see the coral reefs and the big drop off where it goes down thousands of feet. Lots of interesting things to see.

You are sitting back to back in 2 rows looking outward through the windows. There are pictures posted on the inside walls over the windows identifying some of the fish that you will be seeing. There is running live commentary of what you are seeing and what to look for.

    I would do it again.

    There's always a first time!

Maybe if you had had the views in Grand Cayman instead of Aruba you would think differently.

Cool. I did an underwater type thing in Cancun long ago, it was the type that floats on the surface and you just go down a few steps and sit to look out the windows. Did not see much on that one, but the weired thing was instead of facing one way or the other, there was one long bench down the center and they made you stradle the bench so everyone was 'lined up'...very uncomfortable and strange... ...it was *way* to close to the guy/gal in front/behind you for me.
So I am glad to know you sit back to back. I think we will go for it.
I have not done the stingray swim, but have no real desire to... I know, I know, I may be the only one on the planet who does not want to swim with the stingrays, but it just does not appeal to me.
