Cayman Islands -- You Opinion

If you wish, PLEASE give your reasons. They could be quite helpful to those who haven't been but are considering going.

We use to enjoy going there much more than we do now. Gosh, there's just so much more traffic!

If we have a port stop, we're fine with it! If we don't, that's OK too.

We've been with the stingrays several times ... etc. etc.

Our favorite thing now is to take a taxi to Grape Vine Beach (on 7-Mile). Do love it there. Because we're doing this "on our own", we tend to leave early to return because with the traffic. Normally, get back early enough to go to Paradise Restaurant for drinks (they make them with mostly real fruit) and to eat their yummy "Almost The Worlds Best Fish Sandwich" ....

We have been there only 2 times and wouldn't hesitate to go back again. Both times we really enjoyed the stingray swim, but I think 2 times is enough now.
I loved their port shopping area and the prices weren't too bad. The people all seemed quite friendly
We did eat at a restaurant called Breezes, pricey, but yummy. If you ever go there, get a seat outside..the view is darned nice.

I voted no opinion either way. We have been there and snorkeled a long time ago. It poured rain as we left the snorkel site so we went back to the ship and we didn't get to see anything else.

My last trip there we didn't leave the ship. There were too many other ships in port and we didn't think it was worth it.

I would not mind stopping there again, but not with 6 other ships in port.

We love Grand Cayman -- have been there many times. We used to eat at Paradise, but now with the new pier location we enjoyed going to Jimmie Buffet's on our last cruise.

We have done the tours - turtle farm, stingray city and even went to HELL!!

I don't like Grand Cayman, I LOVE Grand Cayman. Why isn't that one of the choices ???

I imagine it is Sea Grape Beach of which you speak.

ZY .... You are so right -- Sea Grape Beach!

I had to print this and show it to my DH! He loved it! Hate to tell you how many times he's had to say to others ... LuLu means Sea Grape, not Grape Vine? Silly LuLu! (Remember, I was born blonde .... )

By any name ... it's a great place to spend the day!
