Here is the latest currency conversion rate
1 Cayman Islands Dollar = 1.22500 US Dollar

You can see how expensive the food is that is listed on the menu.
$10 Cayman dollars = $12.25 US dollars

In the past I've always kept the ball-park figure of 20% in my head ... while not exact, it's always "in the neighborhood"!

An easy way to I remember the exchange is US$1= 80 cents Cayman, but judging from the exchange Char posted, ithe US dollar is losing value(well, I knew that).

We had lunch at the hard Rock Cafe when we were there in 2005. We also saw Senor Frogs. Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville is now open there too.
