There is a place that the locals go to that is a grocery store (market) , about a block from the main drag, that has a cafeteria style buffet that you can buy prepared items by the pound! It is very good and when I recall the name I'll post it! This is the way to get the flavor of the island rather than just another chain restaurant.

All the food and drink is expensive there since they have no agriculture to speak of, and need to import most of their food products.

I tried the Fort Street Market a few weeks ago. It's a grocery store and more. They make all kinds of sandwiches and pizza, along with a buffet line where you can make your own plate lunch. A lot of the local area business people seem to come in can get lunches to go. There are a few tables outside or a square across the street or just walk back to the water front. Or tender back to ship.

It is across from the Library and Bus station.
