Oh - and if you should forget to pick one up, you CAN buy them on the ship. But the price is a lot more there . . . around double what you would pay at Walmart.
(So TRY not to forget)
Please tell us why you are nervous about your cruise. Maybe we can help by providing information...
. . . or is it just anxiety about the stingrays in particular?
I’m am giving this cruise to my bf for Christmas next year and I’m worried about having a good time, wanting to pay for the excursions in advance and still saving money, (I’m working my tail off for this…) so we don’t have to put as much on the credit cards.
I’m not usually this neurotic, but having to remember what to pack, what to take on for my carry on, and the other little things, I just don’t want to forget something. I know I’ll be making a list sometime soon as the first of the year so I can check off the things that need to be done, i.e. airfare, getting to the dock…
And there are other things, but I did find a forum on here that eased that fear quite a bit…
mel Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is
falling in love with your smile.
Our First Cruise!!! in
No work!! Warm Weather!! Here I come!!!!
I just want to add my two cents. I used Nativeways and they were great. After Stingray City, they took us to RUm Point for a great lunch. Not sure if the ships' excursion does that. But youare sure to have a great time, whether you take the ships' tour of someone else's.
Bumping this up because I found the information here so valuable. After reading all of these reviews and researching online, it looks like our group will book our tour through Native Way. This way those that want to stop at Hell or the Turtle Farm can do that and the rest of us that want to see the Sting Rays can do that. Those that don't want to touch or swim with the rays can stay onboard and watch.
Perhaps if we are lucky you all have been we will get an extra snorkel stop.
I don't suppose 7 Mile Beach is worth snorkeling? Where are the best reefs?
Let your conversation be gracious and attractive, so that you will have the right response for everyone.

We've also used Native Way and recommend them - they've always been great to work with.
As for snorkeling, 7-Mile Beach is not very good - it's all sandy bottom. It's a beautiful beach, just not good for snorkeling.
