The rum cake factory is good, but the turtle farm is better.

We did the Island/Sting Ray City Tour. You leave the port in a small bus(Toyota Coaster) drive by the new Ritz Carlton Hotel along the Seven Mile Beach, stop at the Cayman Turtle Farm, proceed to Hell, then drive to the Marina to board the boat to the sand bar to hangout with the sting rays. You can feed them and hold them, but trying to catch one is easier said than done. This tour is one I'll do again. The rum cakes are great, I prefer the Original.

We then had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe in Georgetown, shopped and walked back to the pier to board the tender for the short ride back to the Valor.

We did the 3 stop Stingray Snorkel excursion on Captain Bryan's Buccaneer. http://caymanislandsdiscounts.com/St..._Excursion.htm It was one of the best excursions we have ever been on! Those stingrays are amazing and the water was soooooo clear!

Here are some pictures from that day: http://community.webshots.com/album/530801710NJTzFf

We have been to GC many times. The first time we took the Atlantis Submarine under the sea. It was expensive but well worth the trip as I can't snorkel or dive. We went down more than 100 Ft. Next stop was a taxi to Seven Mile Beach. Don't let them leave you at the Colony Club. This is where the "ships" tours go and it wil be packed. There were no lounge chairs never mind space even for a towel to be put down. Next trip we took a taxi to the Seven Mile beach across from the present Courtyard by Marriott Hotel (Sea Grapes I think). This was beautiful. They have rest rooms, refreshments and you can rent a lounge for $10 plus get one cool beverage. There are water sports activities nearby. We have also taken the Swim with the Sting Rays tour which is a must if you have never done it. I would recommend a private vendor to avoid crowds and waiting. Nativeway was running when the ship's tours were cancelled due to rough seas. They are much cheaper also. Our tour to the Turtle Farm and Hell plus an island tour was good for land lubbers who have done everything else. Don't know what we will do next time (November). I would love to see Rum Point but don't like to drive on vacation.
Bon Voyage
