Carnival Victory: How sound proof are the cabins.

I recently had a tour of the carnival victory..gorgeous ship..I found getting around confusing...but I guess once I take the cruise I will find my way around...question: We are booked in a balcony cabin on upper deck 6...looking at the floor plans it looks like the Arctic Lounge is right below us..I was wondering how soundproof the ship is, and if we would hear the noise/music in our cabin.

You won't hear a single peep coming from the lounge, Our cabin was located around the same area as yours and we had no problems at all.

All the ships are pretty good as long as you don't have a kid next door that is learing to play a steel drum mom and pop got him on shore. Made my week

You have got to be kidding,
    LOL
    I would have freaked...lol

The cabins are pretty much sound proof, unless your directly under the Lido deck. Then you will hear some noise when they are moving the chairs around

There is NO snoring permitted in or around our cabin, just ask the DW.

Bridget....just a quick note on getting around on Victory. Deck 5 is the one deck you can use to get both aft and forward. It is the most convenient.
