We're cruising Jan 20-27 on the Carnival Valor.......We got our cabin assignments some time back and was wondering if anyone had any expierence with these rooms or general area of the deck.............pro's and con's???????Lido deck rooms 9275 and 9281. We asked to have rooms on the oppisite side as to have a view no matter what, but we got those assginment instead. I'm not gonna complain because they upgraded us 4 catagories Anyways any thoughts and idea are appreciated

I think the cabins are great!! You are close to elevators, main pool and a short walk to the Buffet, great cabins and nice balconies!! Congratulations!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

If you haven't been on the Valor before you will love the buffet, awesome selections, the pork chops are to die for, and all the diffent pastries!! You can't pick just one!! Also there is a nice seating area upstairs by the windows with its own beverage and coffee area!! The best fish and chips area is up there too!!

Any other ideas or must does?????? We have never seen the ship and are very excited. I booked our excursions last night and we went with the Stingray city and island tour in GC (we done it before had too again ), the Catamaran sail and snorkel Isla Rotaon, the Altun Ha ruins in Belize and the Jeep tour and snorkel in Cozumel. Also we are thinking about going to Scarlett's one night for dinner, but money is a little tight is it worth it???? Please share any ideas......Thanks and I love the sight

The excursions sound wonderful!! Yes I think if you can swing it you would really enjoy Scarlett's, it would give you a great memory!! Great entertainment after dinner, liked everything Shopping on the ship is good too, check out early what you like then wait till the last couple of days for the BIG sales, unless you find a "must have", then buy it cause it may not go on sale or there may not be any more left!! WOW 10 days to go, you must be so excited!! Are you going into Miami the day before???

Yes we are flying in from Atlanta and my best friend and his wife (their first cruise, her first EVER real vacation) are flying in from Kansas City. We are staying at the La Quinta Inn Airport East one night before and one night after. I made sure they had a shuttle to and from the airport and they even have one that will takes us to the port Sunday Morning. My friends wife is like a kid on Christmas Eve at this point Man I sure wish it would come on already

I believe it is!! OMG I hope you love airplanes, the end of the runway is almost right across the street!! They take off and land right over the tree tops!! It is Awesome!! Also there is a Bennigans right at the end of the driveway to La Quinta and they have the best burgers and ribs!!
