Thread: Carival Valor 9/21/2008 - Who's joining us??

My husband and I will be sailing on the Carnival Valor on 9/21/2008. This will be our 4th year in a row on her. We'd love to hear from others who will be joining us!!

Wow, 4th year in a row on the Valor? I know she's a very nice ship, I cruised on her 4.5 months after she entered service. You really do like this ship, I see. Sorry I can't join you this time.

We booked her originally 4 years ago after all the hurricanes thinking if it got cancelled due to a hurricane we'd get our money back and get a cruise certificate from Carnival. Great weather so we had to take the cruise!! We love the ship and the staff. We've always had a great time on this ship. I love the Eastern itinerary. I could care less if we get off the ship in the Bahamas...may book a spa treatment that day. Love St. Thomas and St. Maarten. We like to take the water taxi across in St. Maarten, relax on the beach for a while, wander through town and stop at this little shack on the beach (sorry can't remember the name) for lunch. They have roti's which I first had on Barbadoes and love. Plus 2 sea days at the end is R&R for me. That means I can split up the packing over 2 days!!

Keep this cruise in mind in case you hit the Lotto and cruise the rest of your life!!!

BTW.... LOVED the Crown. Have a wonderful time on her. I'm sure you will!

Sha, if there is a Caribbean restaurant near you, you may be able to get roti here too. There are a few in Lauderdale and the suburbs and we buy. I'm originally from Trinidad in the Southern Caribbean and have eaten many a roti.

Only 4 months away and no one's coming with us. Cool! Can I get upgraded to a Suite???
