Thread: Dining Question/Carnival Triumph

We are cruising on Triumph in May '06. We have requested a table for two in the Paris dining room and were told that we should contact the Maitre 'd as soon as we board. Does anyone know about this? Would we go to the dining room or somewhere else? Are requests for tables for two usually accomodated. Also, we heard that the Paris dining room has more glass and is more open than the London dining room. We would appreciate any comments or suggestions.

The maitre'd will usually be set up in the front of one of the dining rooms in the early afternoon on the first day. If the cruise isn't sold out, it shouldn't be a problem. My wife and I had a booth for 4 people but we didn't have any table mates. I also saw a few empty 4 seaters around the dining room.

Last year when I boarded the Triumph my seating was for early on my ss card-went to London Dinning room before 3:00 o'clock and had Maitre D change it to late.

There are many booths that only had 2 people(could seat 4) in the Paris dining room-especially on the left hand side as you enter.

Great ship-had same room 2 years in a row.

Yes just go see the maitre'd and he will see what he can do. You may not get it though so go early lots of folks like to sit with just the two of them! Good Luck
Personally I love to sit with other folks, It's like entertainment at dinner. ;-)
