Arrow Cozumel vs Progreso on Carnival

I'm new to Carnival, but have heard about the Galveston departures to cozumel to be a good fun. So about the Carnival Triumph Itinerary Schedule from Galveston. If the numbers there are right, why visiting Cozumel alone with shorter itinerary is more expensive? What's wrong with Progreso?

Prices of all cruises are based on supply and demand. There's just not alot to do in Progreso, so there's not a big demand. It can also have alot to do with when you want to go. For example, when school is out, demand and prices go up. Shorter cruises over the weekend are more in demand than shorter cruises during the week.
