I've not sailed the Triumph, but sailed the Destiny. The two differences between the two vessels are an extra deck of balcony cabins on the Triumph (and Victory), and of course each ships theme is different. I think you would love the ship. We have one member who is due to return from a cruise on the Triumph today (April 15th), so check back here to see what he says about it.

Well be warned, don't go on the Triumph with the same expectations you have of the Celebrity ships. The Triumph-Class ships (only 2 ships in this class, the other is Victory) are nice ships, so go ahead and give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it.

Then Greg, you know what they say? follow your heart if Royal's itinerary is better. You can always try the Triumph another time.

I think that's the RCL spirit, pay more, but I've heard it's worth it. Ok then, think, T R I U M P H, as in Carnival Triumph. Case in the bag, done deal.

I was on the Triumph back in 2001. We went right after 9-11 hit. We got up graded to a jr. suite and LOVED it! The Triumph is one of our favorite ships that we've been on. Very pretty ship and we had great service!
