New Burrito Bar Debuts on Carnival Splendor





In a nod to the Mexican Riviera itinerary of the new Carnival Splendor, a new burrito bar debuted during the ship’s two-day familiarization cruises in San Francisco and Los Angeles last week.

Located within the expansive poolside restaurant, The Lido, the venue allows guests the opportunity select a variety of meats, rice, vegetables and other ingredients and have a custom-made burrito created right before their eyes.

The burrito bar has garnered positive feedback from Carnival Splendor guests and the company is evaluating expanding the concept to other ships in the fleet.

Wohoo!! Now I can't give all my attention to the sushi stand...

It does sound interestsing, doesn't it? And very appropo for cruises to the Mexican Riviera, too.

Oooo I'm pumped about the burrito bar. I'm not a sushi eater so this is right up my alley. Woooo

What a fabulous idea and a very welcome change from the norm!!!

I think Carnival Cruise Line may just have a real winner of an idea here, don't you?

Oh dear lord, the burrito bar is amazing. Michele actually moved a deck chair over there and slept next to it at night lol But I'm still catching up on sleep (3 excursions with open bars!), so will have my entire review up hopefully soon.... long story short, if you can get on the Splendor, do!
