Beginning December 10, 2010, Carnival Cruise Lines will begin offering two new five- and nine-day itineraries to Mexico, including one that will visit for the first time La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur.
The five-day cruises on the 2,124-passenger Carnival Spirit will visit the resort town of Cabo San Lucas for two full days, while nine-day voyages will also feature a two-day call in Cabo San Lucas, plus stops in Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and La Paz.
The new itineraries (which replaces the Spirit’s current eight-day Mexican Riviera program) will operate through April 1 of next year (2011).
Guests scheduled to sail on the eight-day trips can switch to a new nine-day Mexican Riviera cruise with their eight-day cruise fare protected; rebook an alternate Carnival sailing and receive a $50 per person onboard credit; or cancel and receive a full refund.
