Reggie has set up a group cruise for us to Alaska on the Carnival Spirit.

Date: 9/7/2010
From: Seattle ... cruising to Juneau, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Ketchikan, Inside Passage and Vancouver. This is a "unique" itinerary for the season and the only one that includes Glacier Bay.

Yes, I noticed Reggie and I weren't as excited as normal ....

Char, Alaska is Hal's and my favorite destination. We cruised there twice before and in fact met 22+ years ago on a cruise to Alaska on the original Pacific Princess. We've never seen Glacier Bay or Hubbard Glacier. This cruise will include Glacier Bay, so we are beyond thrilled. Have been on the Spirit 3 other times and loved the ship so was a great choice especially leaving from Seattle next year. A number of our cruise buddies are talking about going too. Come join us.

So yes, EXCITED ... VERY EXCITED.

Alaska is one of our favs, too! Cruised there 5 times and want to go for a 6th.

We have been to both Glacier Bay (2 times) and Hubbard Glacier (3 times).

Here is a picture of the Hubbard taken from our aft balcony on the Infinity.

Char, what a great photo. I just can't wait to experience this too.

Thanks Mary, but we have sailed with Carnival twice and come to the conclusion that it's just not a good fit for us. Different strokess for different folks!

Oh my gosh, we are offical NOW.....

Off to start the posting. But before I leave, here are some amazing Alaska photos taken last month on the Carnival Spirit. Wish you were going with us, but I understand. So you will be with us in "Spirit" when we sail.
