Thread: Sensation Delayed

Sailing of the Carnival Sensation from Port Canaveral this afternoon has been delayed due to a bomb threat.

The threat was called in around 3:30, and the caller said it would go off at 5:00 pm.

The ship has been evacuated, and local authorities (Sherrif and Port) are on the scene.

I think they should have ignored it; but that is just me. If we ran and hid everytime someone made a threat, there would be no point in a free country.

Hmmmm.....I wonder if they used those circumstances to check all the staterooms for smuggled liquor?

I remember reading about this, I would have been scared to death, can't imagine how everyone must have felt. Glad everything was o.k.

I heard from another local that they finally get away around 8 pm that evening.

I wonder what they would do if someone called in that there was a bottle of booze hidden in a suitcase somewhere on the ship?
