Don`t give up. Us old characters still can learn.

Guess I just had three more pictures scanned. They are now on the gallery now.

Thanks, John - I'll check it out.

ANd thanks for the encouragement on the DH training, as well.

WOW TAZ fabulous reveiw post of the ELATION!!!!!!! and the pic from half moon cay, spectacular, to say the least. I'm fairly new to the forum, but at 39 my family and I are on our 7th cruise with carnival. We are sailing our first holiday cruise on the ELATION departing December 23, 2006, and I am getting butterflies counting down the day's.

any other suggestions about the ELATION that may be helpful to us.

    Thanks again,

    RDH

Elation is a good size ship. Not too many places to get lost. Just had a problem with locating the restaurant. And that is very bad if you like to eat like we do. Otherwise it was alot of fun. All our cruises have been fun in different ways.

Just have a super time and wish we were there too.

Great review...I too missed it the first time around!

I loved Half Moon Cay! We got one of the Cabanas...awesome!

    Thanks for sharing.

Half moon is just wonderful. Best beach so far. We could be there every week and not be tired of it. Some friends got a cabana and invited us to join them. We had so much fun walking on down the beach we didn`t get back to visit with them. Met some young ladies from Michigan and hung out with them off and on the rest of the cruise.

    I agree John,

Half Moon Cay is the best beach. The sand was like talcum powder between the toes!! We mainly got the Cabana for my dad...there was an air conditioner in there...comfy chairs and he could be in the shade...he is not a sun worshipper like the rest of us...lol.

We aren`t ones for the sun either. Don`t swim for that matter when we are here at home. But that salt water along with the water temp feels very good on my wrecked back that time spent there is the best therapy I can get. Nothing like that in Kansas. It would be another reason for Dorothy to leave the state.LOL!!

Spectacular review John, thank you so much for taking the time to add so much detail!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

I tr to do a review of all our cruises. Seems like whenever I start plans on a trip there is a lack of info. I want to help change that.
