    Pride debarkment

If you have been on the Pride, what time did debarkment start?

I have a 12:35 pm flight home. I just read that the Pride often has debarkment held due to Customs searching the ship. I am curious to see how often this truly happens. I read this on the dark side and we all know who negative they sometimes can be there.

You will not ruin anything for the group. It would be our group to ruin things for you guys. So be gald you are going on the Pride first. lol Seriously though you need to let the good people/crew know another group of the CLFers will be on. I normal make my doorsigns and have the website in the corner. That way if anyone takes the time to read my door sign they will see www.cruiselinefans.com and maybe come over for a visit.

We had 8 X 10 CLF signs made up with our screen names on it, for our doors on the Spirit. I think we are going to do the same thing for the Ladies cruise too.

And our group is so fun and nice, that by the time we leave the Pride they will be looking forward to your arrival in Nov.

I make my doorsigns on the computer and print them out on 8 X 10 photo paper that I buy at the Dollar Tree. I always make sure that I have clf on my sign but that is a great idea of just doing one big sign that says CLF on it.

I had 3 door signs on our Spirit cruise. One was CLF, two was a pirate sign, and the third was our "We've Got Spirit" sign.

Janice, I normally do some type of sign that has some clip art dealing with the cruise. Examples, NYE Fantasy was some NYE, champagne glasses and a couple dancing. For the FOS in Nov 2006 it was our son's birthday and we did some birthday signs. February 2007 on the Celebration, it was our anniversay. But I alway have put the cruise website on the signs.

Never thought to do a sign with just the website until you mentioned it. I will make sure we do one for the Pride.

You would think it wouldn't be every sailing. I don't know if there's separate customs officers who handle Long Beach, apart from San Pedro. There's only one ship at anytime in Long Beach. Maybe the CCers who complained just happened to be on the few cruises that had problems.

My last cruise, in San Pedro, had a late disbarkation. The officers apparently didn't get on the ship right away. Maybe they were short handed and had to take care of the Monarch of the Seas first with a skelton crew, before boarding the Island Princess.
