    CHILENO BAY SNORKEL

Chileno Beach is probably the best all-around beach in Cabo San Lucas. The reef offshore is also home to some of the Los Cabos area's best snorkeling. You can see sea turtles, manta rays, sea fans, and hundreds of tropical fish on this excellent snorkeling tour.
Chileno bay is about a 30-minute boat ride from Cabo San Lucas. Chileno Bay is also a popular spot for many of our Boat Tours to go for snorkeling.

NOTE: The actual snorkeling time on this tour is approximately DOUBLE that of most tours in Cabo San Lucas, at about 1.5 hours (even more if you choose to snorkel during the break!), and you'll snorkel at two separate locations!

    Runs: Daily at 9:00AM
    Duration: 4 Hours Approximately
Departs: Scuba offices at Paseo del Pescador, right off of Medano Beach, next to Billygan's Island.

Includes: Roundtrip Transportation to the snorkeling location, all taxes and fees, snorkeling equipment and bottled water.

    Don't Forget:
    • Biodegradable Sunblock (SPF 30+)
    • Swimsuit and Towel
    • Waterproof Camera
Kids: All ages welcome. Kids same price as adults.
    * If the water is choppy on the day of the trip, we may need to use van transportation instead of a boat to get to the protected cove for snorkeling.
    CHILENO BAY SNORKELING TOUR (ADULTS)
    Regular price - $71.50 - Your Price -
    $64.50 10%
*Price includes all taxes and snorkeling equipment!
Don't worry - English is our First Language!

    OUR ADVICE:
You will likely share the boat with scuba divers. You'll arrive at Chileno Bay and you'll snorkel on the beautiful reef while they make their first dive.
When they do their 1-hour surface interval, you can either wait on the boat, or we can take you to the beach where you can continue to enjoy excellent snorkeling.
When the divers are ready for their second dive, you'll go out on the boat to the second reef and snorkel even more!
That could be up to 2.5 hours of pure Snorkeling! Most snorkeling tours only offer about 45 minutes!

We would still need to pay for cabs to the departure place.

    Ship charges for this one:
Join the crew of the Tropicat, the newest and most luxurious catamaran in Cabo San Lucas, for a 3½-hour tour to Chileno Bay.
    On this excursion you will:
    • Board the 65-foot super cat featuring a waterslide and spacious accommodations for everyone.
    • Cruise along Cabo’s famed Lover’s Beach, past the Sea Lion Colony, the Arch and the towering rock formations of Land’s End.
    • Set sail for Chileno Bay, cruising along Cabo’s gold coast.
    • Drop anchor at Chileno and snorkel among the tropical fish in the azure waters of the Sea of Cortez.
    • Explore the Bay’s large reef, home to many species including parrotfish, angelfish, Moorish idols and manta rays.
    • Swim to the beach in search of long lost treasures buried in the sand.
    • Request lessons if you are novice snorkeler or wish to refresh your snorkeling skills.
    • Enjoy an assortment of finger foods and domestic drinks, from the open bar, on the return voyage.
    • Relax as the sails are hoisted and enjoy the beauty of Los Cabos!
Note: Minimum age is 8 years; maximum weight is 240 lbs.
Pregnant women, guests with back/neck injuries, or heart conditions are not allowed to participate on this
    excursion.
Guests should be in good physical condition. All snorkel gear is included, and flotation vests are mandatory.
Restrooms are available on the catamaran. Participants must be able to climb in and out of the catamaran without assistance.

Moving some discussion over from the Cabo thread

We don't have a lot of time in Cabo, our ship leaves at 4. Someone had said something about a glass blowing factory. That sounded interesting but I don't know where it's at or anything about it.

Also this is a short port and some may want to shop after.

Also, a plus is all reviews I have read is that
Chileno Beach is like a Caribbean beach, white sand and crystal clear water.

I'm looking into the best site to book with. Just want to know if others want to do this, maybe we should start it's own thread, so we can decide who and where
Of course the price is more so if cost is an issue, we are willing to do whatever

I'll research how far the glass factory is in case others want to go there too or instead.

Well you've got my vote. I love to snorkel and this vacation just wouldn't be complete without. I was even considering looking for a snorkel tour but you've done all the work for us!
Let your conversation be gracious and attractive, so that you will have the right response for everyone.

I voted a maybe. I love snorkling and espicially like it off the boat but not sure if I will be to sore after riding horses the day before.
Either the first or second choice is okay with me. The third choice doesn't get back to the dock till 3:30 and the ship sails at 4:00 with Cabo being a tender port. That is just way to close for my comfort zone.
The Chileano Bay sounds wonderful and it will get us back time to do some quick shopping, a bit to eat, or head back to the ship and soak the sore muscles in the hot tub. While we have to get up a little earlier then I like - we can always sleep in the next day.

The Sunrider also looks good, is cheaper, and has food and drink. But less snorkling and it does get back at 2:30 and if anything goes wrong - well we don't have much breathing room and no possible shopping unless you get up early and go before hand which defeats the purpose of not choosing The Chileano Bay.

So since I haven't made a firm discision on going, I vote for going to Chileano Bay.

I put yes. I love snorkeling even though I got a little ill when I snorkeled in rough waters in St. Thomas in 2005. I agree with Maggie's assessment. I vote for Chileno so we have a little time to shop. (I know, no surprise that Ruth wants to shop).

This is what I am doing next month. I really doubt it is the best snorkeling, but is what some others are doing + some whale watching in Feb.

Sure hope the pictures are good, cause I might not remember much or may choose to forget.
