I don't know about "secrets". We did not really like the layout of the two middle pools and the high walls around them. It felt like we were in a pit, so we spent most of the time at the back pool.

When on the slide, remember to cross your legs, arch your back (for max speed) and plug your nose (or you'll get water up it at the end).

I did remember a secret - at the burger grill out on the Lido, ask them for a "steak sandwhich" and they will grill you up a good one (thicker than a cheesesteak, but not to thick).

Soda Cards - they don't really push/advertise these. One of the bar tenders by the Lido Pools was "too busy" to sell me one on the second day. Just go down to the Atrium Bar to buy one. They are usually not that busy. They will give you a speach about it being for fountain drinks only and not cans; but, they have no fountains, only cans! After he gave me the speech and gave me the card, he then asked me if I wanted a coke and then poured it from the can. Didn't see anyone with special cups for the soda card.

I assume you are going on her out of NYC on an 8 day? If so, get with your friends and family and stake out a good spot about midship on the deck above the lido. You want to get your spot on the right/starboard side as that is where the Statue of Liberty will be. But, Manhattan is on the oher side, so you want to be able to run across to that side to take pictures of the skyline and then come back to your famiilyfrineds on the right/starboard side so you will have a good spot to take pictures of the statue of liberty. It will be on the other side coming back of course and if you dock late enough (we doced at 9:00 am) you will have a chance to take pictures of her again.

Orientation on the ship - when you come up the elevators/stairway into Horatios (buffet) on the Lido Deck, it gets very confusing which way is which, which also makes it hard to find the specific serving station you are looking for. After the cruise was almost over, I figured out a system. I forgot already; but, it had something to do with what I looked at as soon as I got off the elevators.

The photo shop moves the pictures constantly so the new pictures are always in the same area. So, your pictures from the first day will be rotated to the other end and then to the other side of the atrium as the week moves on.
