Hi all who may be joining us on this cruise. Wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name is Nancy I have been on 3 other cruises 2 on Carnival and 1 on Royal Caribbean. A group of family and friends get together and go on a cruise every year, well for the last couple of years. I am looking forward to this cruise and hope that I get some people on here to chat with. Well hope you all have a good day.

    Hello Matey

Scappy, My wife and I and a couple of our friends will be on this cruise, we booked our trip yesterday. We are from MN. Our flight arrives the night before and will surely be enjoying some adult beverages at our hotel.

    Nervous

Hey Scrappy, are you at all nervous about travelling in the middle of the Thanksgiving weekend?? We really didn't realize it until our TA said, you know that's the Saturday after Thanksgiving?? I did some looking around and found that the Friday after Thanksgiving isn't too bad for travel.

pavlov I am not too worried about traveling at that time other than the airfare it will take to get me into FL. I have family in FL and I think I am going to fly in on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and spend the holiday with them then we will drive down to Ft. Lauterdale on Saturday morning. I think we will be ok with the travel times. What area are you from I can't remember. Have a good weekend and chat more later.

    Minnesota, Ya know

We will be flying from MN the day after Thanksgiving, late. We are going to catch a quick night's sleep and then try to catch the Miracle coming into port. Our airfare was really reasonable, just over $300 a person.

This is our first cruise, and seems a long ways off, but we are so excited.

This is your first cruise? How exciting I can still remember my first cruise and it was in 2002. So this will be a great experience for you. And to see the ship come into port is a good idea too. $300 per person is a good fare. I am still shopping around for good airfare. My husband loves MN he was only there once and that was at cold weather training in the Marine Corps reserves so it must be a beutiful state to see. I have never been myself but we looked into moving there when we first got married back in 1992 but never did I don't think he can move away from his mother.

Are you looking into any excursions yet? I have looked a few and the only one I know I want to do is cave tubing in Beliez. I am going to book through a place on the internet called cave_tubing.com I think they seem to have a good rep. and price.

Have a good day/weekend. And don't worry the time seems like it is far away but it will be here quicker than you think.

We have picked out excursions at all 3 ports already. There was a bit of compromise with my wife on this, I am a civil engineer and the Panama canal is a big deal for me. I am going to force her to take the Panama canal tour and in exchange we are going on the High There rain forest deal in Cost Rica and we're doing the snokeling with beach break in Belize. We are still seven months away so we could change our minds.

If you ever make it to MN, you have to visit Dultuh and the northen shore of Lake Superior. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Funny you should say that we need to visit Duluth because that is the part of the state we had looked into moving to. I would love to get there one day to visit.

I have looked a little more into shore excursions. We have found a tour in Costa Rica that takes you to a beach, through the rain forst and a banana plantation. We think we may do that. And the cave tubing in Belize but not sure yet about Panama. We still have time to think about it.

What would you think about a meet and greet on board ship. I am on another message board too and we are having one on the first day at sea after everyone is settled just to get together and finalllllly meet after chatting so long on the boards. What do you think about meeting up once on ship? Think about it and let me know.

    Have a good day.
