Thread: Carnival Legend November 22

I just booked a cruise for Thanksgiving week of 2009 on the Legend. Anyone else taking that one?

Yep, I am really looking forward to it.... Have you booked any excusions? I am trying to avoid booking through the ship. I also sent you an email this morning to your email listed on this site, I was not sure if the post worked....sorry

We have not. I, too, and trying to avoid booking through the cruise line. We will probably play it by ear when we get there.

I have also already completed all the paperwork online. I am so ready to go. Our last cruise was when my son was in kindergarten. Now, he's in 3rd grade, and so looking forward to it.

Who knows, maybe we'll cross paths along the way.

It looks like our 2 families will have the entire ship to ourselves.....Anyway, I know you have a 3rd grader you are traveling with. I am traveling with my wife, an 11 year old boy and 13 year old girl. Our boys will probably be in the same group on the ship. We are really looking forward to going, the kids had a great time on the last cruise we were on. Less then a month away

I am good with our families being the only ones on the ship! Talk about good service...we'll have it! Yes, our sons will both be in Camp Carnival together, but I think my son will be in a younger age group than yours since he's 8. I would love (as would he) for them to put him in the same age group as the 9-11 year olds. He tends to get along better with older kids. That may stem from him hanging out in my classroom with 5th graders alot!

Out of curiosity, where are you guys traveling from? We are coming from Northeast Georgia.

We are coming from the Jacksonville FL area.... Our kids are soooooo excited, they had so much fun on the last cruise we were on. Keep in touch.....

You guys are pretty close. You have the luxury of not hearing your child(ren) ask for 8 hours, " Are we almost there?" lol.

Not much longer now! Time to start packing! Now's when I wish I wasn't a procrastinator!
