The Imagination is very nice for a slightly older ship without the bells and whistles. The friendliest crew I have ever seen.

I'm going on my first cruise in November on the Imagination from Miami. I have read a lot of information on this ship. Can anyone give me any suggestions, help or comments for first time cruisers for THIS ship. Also, is the Holiday Inn-Port of Miami a good hotel? Is the hotel close to all the action (Miami Beach, Bayside and the Port)? Thanks
