Thread: New to carnival freedom! Any advice?

I WILL BE SAILING THE CARNIVAL FREEDOM NEXT YEAR. I AM STILL A CRUISE NEW BORN I ONLY HAVE 2 CRUISES UNDER MY BELT. BOTH ON CARNIVAL CONQUEST (ONE EASTERN ONE WESTERN) LOVED IT HAD LOTS OF FUN WELL I AM PLANNING NEXT YEARS CRUISE ON THE CARNIVAL FREEDOM, ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVISE
1. HOWS THE FOOD
2, HOWS IS THE POOL
3 WHAT ABOUT THE EXCURSIONS (PANAMA,COZAMEL(BEEN THERE) AND COSTA RICA/
4WHAT SHOULD I DO WHILE IN FORT LAUDERDALE (WE ARE GOING A DAY BEFORE) LEARNED MY LESSON ABOUT SAME DAY TRAVEL THE FIRST TIME I CRUSED

I will say that on my 6 Carnival cruises I have always been pleased with the food. I have no reason to expect anything less.

I toured the Carnival Freedom and had a luncheon with a group of other travel agents one week ago today in the Posh restaurant. When I get home, I'll post a few pictures of the ship here for you.

The Freedom is sister to the Carnival Conquest, which is the first in that Class of ships, and Freedom is the last and newest Conquest Class ship, entering service in 2007. The pools are great same as other ships in her class, food is always great on Carnival, and in general, the decor of the ship is very nice.

There is lots to do in Ft Lauderdale. You can take the Jungle Queen cruise tour up the New River thru downtown Lauderdale, or the Water Bus. You can get an idea from the shore excursions in the link above.

5. Chocolate served with Raspberry Sherbet.
